SENIOR THEATRE ACADEMY

FOR AGES 14+

SENIOR THEATRE ACADEMY

For ages 14+

Serious training. Real industry experience. Your future starts here.

The Senior Theatre Academy is for young performers aged 14 and above who are ready to be truly challenged — whatever their ambition. Whether you're here because performing arts is your passion, because you're keen to find new friends outside of your school/college setting or because you have your sights set firmly on a professional career, we will meet you exactly where you are and take you further than you imagined.

Our tutors aren't just teachers — they're working West End and TV professionals, actively performing in the industry you want to be part of. The knowledge, experience, and insight they bring into every class simply cannot be replicated anywhere else.

We know the teenage years come with their own pressures — academic stress, social challenges, questions of identity and direction. Our Senior classes are a space where all of that is understood. A place to be yourself, push your boundaries, and thrive — surrounded by people who genuinely get it. We are fully inclusive and neurodivergent-friendly, and every student's journey is shaped around their own individual goals.

Across singing, dance, and drama, Senior students receive:

  • High-level performing arts training — vocal technique, movement, and acting at a serious standard

  • Audition preparation — for drama school, performing arts college, and professional roles

  • Exam and qualification support — including LAMDA preparation across all grades

  • Industry insight — from tutors who are actively working in the profession

  • Confidence and resilience — skills that serve you on stage and in life

Senior students may also apply for our prestigious Associate Programme — an intensive monthly training course for those serious about a professional future in the arts.

All abilities welcome. Your goals are our goals.

Due to the unique nature of this class, our Boys Combo Crew is open to a wider age range, from ages 8 through to teenagers. While we do not typically combine such broad age groups, we believe this creates a positive and supportive environment where younger students are inspired by older role models, and older students are encouraged to develop confidence and leadership skills. Our experienced tutors carefully tailor activities and choreography to ensure every student is appropriately challenged and supported at their individual level.

FOR STUDENTS choosing to progress their skills to an elite level

Our Associate Programme is a specialised advanced training pathway exclusively available to Inters & Seniors students already enrolled in our weekly Theatre Academy classes.

Designed to support and accelerate the development of our most dedicated performers, the programme offers a more tailored and industry-focused training experience, helping students prepare for auditions for higher education performing arts courses, professional training programmes, and the performing arts industry.

Associates attend one intensive Sunday session per month, consisting of four-hour masterclasses led by some of the industry’s most respected professionals.

Training extends beyond performance skills alone, focusing on elite-level technical development in voice, audition technique, self-taping, professional practice, and industry preparation. Students gain invaluable insight into working with West End directors, choreographers, producers, voice coaches, and agents, alongside developing the confidence, discipline, and professionalism expected within the industry.

Entry into the Associate Programme is via audition only and includes both a written application and self-tape submission. Successful students are expected to commit to all monthly sessions for a minimum of one year to ensure consistent progression and professional development.

Associate students also benefit from exclusive performance opportunities throughout the year. This year, our Associates will perform at one of London’s most iconic West End theatres as part of the prestigious Young Future Stars Showcase.
