INTERS THEATRE ACADEMY

For ages 11-13

For the ones finding their voice — on stage and in life.

The tween years are a time of huge change — and we get that. The Inters Theatre Academy is designed not just to develop outstanding performing arts skills, but to be a genuine safe space where 11–13 year olds can explore who they are, build real confidence, and find their people.

Our classes are led by professional West End and TV performers who are as passionate about supporting young people through this stage of life as they are about the craft itself. Whether your child is navigating social pressures, struggling with self-confidence, or simply looking for a place where they truly belong — this is that place.

We are proudly inclusive of neurodivergent students, and we work hard to ensure every young person in our Inters classes feels seen, valued, and supported — not just as a performer, but as an individual.

Across singing, dance, and drama, Inters students will:

  • Find their confidence — developing self-belief that extends far beyond the stage

  • Discover their identity — in a creative, non-judgemental environment

  • Build genuine friendships — with like-minded young people who share their passion

  • Be stretched and challenged — with training that grows alongside their ability

  • Perform regularly — with termly showcases to celebrate their progress

Students in the Inters group may also be eligible to apply for our exclusive

Associate Programme — an additional monthly intensive for those ready to take their training to the next level.

All abilities welcome. Every student treated as an individual.

FOR STUDENTS choosing to progress their skills to an elite level

Our Associate Programme is a specialised advanced training pathway exclusively available to Inters & Seniors students already enrolled in our weekly Theatre Academy classes.

Designed to support and accelerate the development of our most dedicated performers, the programme offers a more tailored and industry-focused training experience, helping students prepare for auditions for higher education performing arts courses, professional training programmes, and the performing arts industry.

Associates attend one intensive Sunday session per month, consisting of four-hour masterclasses led by some of the industry’s most respected professionals.

Training extends beyond performance skills alone, focusing on elite-level technical development in voice, audition technique, self-taping, professional practice, and industry preparation. Students gain invaluable insight into working with West End directors, choreographers, producers, voice coaches, and agents, alongside developing the confidence, discipline, and professionalism expected within the industry.

Entry into the Associate Programme is via audition only and includes both a written application and self-tape submission. Successful students are expected to commit to all monthly sessions for a minimum of one year to ensure consistent progression and professional development.

Associate students also benefit from exclusive performance opportunities throughout the year. This year, our Associates will perform at one of London’s most iconic West End theatres as part of the prestigious Young Future Stars Showcase.
